Our roots run deep in Saginaw County’s history. The Hickey name has been in the automotive industry for over a 100 years. In 1922 my great grandfather Arthur M. Hickey & his brother Sherman P. Hickey joined together to organize the Hickey Auto Company. At that time they became the Oldsmobile distributor for Saginaw. The Hickey family has owned and operated many businesses in the Saginaw area over these years. When I was a child I got to experience the same “magic” behind the scenes that my father did. It only seemed fitting to create a business of my own when I got older.

I had a passion for vehicles at a young age and was able to use that passion to fuel my future. Mint Detailing is one of my gifts to the world. We bring an unmatched level of professionalism to the client with decades worth of detailing experience. We are proudly family owned & operated.

I love what I do and I love all the beautiful souls that pass through these doors. I am so grateful and blessed. I expect I will have more gifts for the world in good time. I have that entrepreneurial spirit.

Mint has been in business for 13 years! Formerly known as DJ’s Detailing. We have years worth of experience handling any “detailing” situation. We offer a wide variety of specialized detailing services including Polishing, Paint Correction, Permanent & Non-Permanent Ceramic Coatings, just to list a few.

We specialize in revitalizing, maintaining & protecting all your assets including Autos, Boats, RVs, Yachts, Toy Hauler/Trailers, SXS, Motorcycles, Semis, Tractors etc. We have knowledgeable experience handling all kinds of surfaces & materials.

We are experienced with the removal of Vomit, Feces, Foul Odors, & Heavy Staining to list a few. We offer On-Site Detailing for anything too large for our shop. We must have access to Water/Electric/Shelter. ($500 Daily Minimum for on-site work.)
